The Ox Cart is Rolling
March 2010

It's hot off the press!  The latest book by Lauraine Snelling No Distance Too Far, book two of Home To Blessing is now at Drayton Drug.  Be sure to stop in and get your copy of this latest addition to Red River of the North series as well as any of Ms Snelling's books.

Plans are already underway for activities for next summer.  Supper at the Soddy, a sodbuster home-style meal served by costumed members of Ox Cart Trails Historical Society, will again be held at Blessing Square.    We are working on Bound For Blessing a theatrical production taken from Lauraine Snelling’s Red River of the North novels.  This production will be somewhat different from last year - you'll need to come to find out how.  Remember, if you are interested in being involved in this production, to be sure to call as soon as possible.  Watch for more on this production.

Ox Cart Trails Historical Society members are working on the interior of the authentic late 1800s log house and it will be open for tours as soon as the weather permits.  If you have an item that would fit into that decor, give us a call.  It is all about our history and keeping it alive here in Drayton.  Perhaps you would like to help with this project.
